About Me

There is nothing better than being surrounded by people you love (while roasting a pig).
I am a traveler; I have been to many countries in Europe. I travel abroad every two years and have seen some wonderful places.  On one of my excursions I met a man on a flight to the Netherlands and he told me: “no matter where you go, people are people.”  So simple, yet so true!  This advice has driven my attitude towards my life and profession for the last 4 years.  This has made me a realist.

I really enjoy tailgating at USF football games.  My friends and I have season tickets and we have a great time.  I cook on a 1980s barrel type grill, anything they want, and hang out with all our tailgating buddies.  I had the tickets for the last 4 years and will keep them as long as this Doctoral program lets me!
If I won the lottery I would open my own school.  I know some teachers that are so special that they have the ability to touch everyone that walks into their class.  I would hire these teachers for my school and pay them their worth.  At this point in my writing you probably formed an opinion of me.  Let me tell you not to get too comfortable.  All is not as it seems.

I would like to thank my family for helping me get to this point in my life.  I have my mom to thank as she has always expected me to perform.  My granddad and dad are an inspiration.  My grandmother and her side of the family has survived atrocities that no one should ever witness.
